aneurysms

I perform diagnostic cerebral angiography to visualize aneurysms. I perform minimally-invasive endovascular embolization of aneurysms and also open microsurgical clip ligation of aneurysms.

vascular malformations

I perform endovascular embolization, microsurgical resection, and radiosurgery for dural arteriovenous fistulas, arteriovenous malformations, and cavernous malformations.

Brain & Neck Atherosclerotic Disease

I perform diagnostic cerebral angiography to grade carotid and vertebral artery stenosis and occlusive disease. I perform endovascular angioplasty and stenting and also open surgical revascularization, such as carotid endarterectomy.

I perform microvascular decompression of cranial nerves 5, 7, and 9 for trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, and glossopharyngeal neuralgia, respectively. I perform percutaneous trigeminal rhizotomy

I perform anterior and posterior decompression of the cervical spinal cord and nerve roots. I perform anterior artificial disc replacement, anterior spinal fusion, and posterior spinal fusion.

I perform anterior and posterior decompression of the thecal sac and nerve roots. I perform microdiscectomies, laminectomies, and anterior and posterior spinal fusion. I utilize intraoperative, image-guided navigation for spinal instrumentation

I perform kyphoplasty for painful compression fractures.

Brain & spine

tumors

I perform biopsy and resection of primary and metastatic brain and spinal tumors. I perform endovascular embolization of hypervascular tumors. I collaborate with Radiation Oncology to plan and deliver stereotactic radiosurgery to brain and spinal tumors.

Subdural

hematomas

I perform evacuation of subdural hematomas and also minimally-invasive endovascular middle meningeal artery embolization for the treatment of chronic subdural hematomas.
